BI publisher - editable pdf form fields within repeating group?

I am working on generating a bi publisher report with editable pdf form fields.  I've set the report properties accordingly to do this and I do get editable form fields in the output...except for the fields within a repeating group.  All output within a repeating group seems to be read only, regardless of the field properties in the template.  I also have noticed that some other field properties on repeating fields don't pass through from the template at all:  borders, shading, visible/hidden.  The documentation clearly states that both repeating groups and editable form fields are supported when turning off the
