Peopletools 8.53 , Application upgrade to 9.2

Hello All,

       we are in PeopleSoft Financial Application: 9.0 and People Tools: 8.53.15 , SQL Server 2008,  OS: Windows 2008 (For Database, Web/ Application and Batch server)


we are planning to upgrade to Application 9.2. can we still remain in 8.53 PeopleTools ?

the reason, I ask this question because (DOC ID: 1963697.2) FSCM 9.0  to 9.2 PI11 , it provides image with People tools 8.54.

How can we upgrade our Application 9.0 to 9.2 , staying on People Tools 8.53.
