PTF Throwing "Error retrieving PeopleTools Release information" Error

Hello -

We are having an issue with PTF on 8.53.25.  Basically, after authentication, the navigation attempt to get to the first page in the test fails with this error:


Error retrieving PeopleTools Release information

I didn't get any hits on My Oracle Support.  Any thoughts as to the cause?
