Whether to Apply Peopletools 8.54 & Image Together or seperately??

We are currently on PS 9.2 /8.53/ Image 7 and are looking forward to install PT 8.54.xx and Image 16 or 17.Has anyone done a similar upgrade before? If yes, can you please share your experience?

Also, I have 3 additional questions.


1. Shall we plan to upgrade PT and Image together? Or shall we do them separately? Which is the recommended approach?

2. Any idea of deployment time in case we plan to do PT/Image together? Is there any data conversion or long running programs between Image 7 & Image 17 that could prolong the deployment window?. We faced issues with the deployment window of Image 14 for HCM previously as it had 10-12 hour Data Conversion program and are really concerned over the deployment window.
