Question about the new Security Deployment Tool

 

Hi All,

I understand that the new Security Deployment Tool is required starting HCM Image 17 for applying updates.  I have applied it to one of our non-production environments and realized that quite a bit of our customizations would need to be reapplied and retest.  Due to the time constraint, if I can identified the delivered security changes included in my Change Package, can I skip the security tool installation, mark all the updating security tasks in the Change Assistant project to 'Complete' and apply the security changes manually?   Any negatives for doing that?
