PeopleSoft upgrade FSCM 9.1 to 9.2 and PT8.53 to 8.55

We  are going to start the PeopleSoft upgrade FSCM 9.1 to 9.2 and PT8.53 to 8.55 .

Please let me  know if my below understanding is correct or I am missing something.

1. As per the latest PT8.55 upgrade we no longer need a NEW DEMO env, as the UGCUST project is generated via an application engine no need to compare the new DEMO with the Copy of PROD any more .

INITIAL PASS : The "SOURCE" will our PUM Image environment where we are on the latest upgrade image with all the prerequisite applied and "TARGET" is our Copy of PROD env.

*** Here my question is on which step we need to upgrade the PeopleTools to 8.55 , it seems on 8.55 we have separate Tools and application upgrade. Not a combined Change Asistant Template anymore.
