NOT able to add items from different suppliers to Pack item in RMS

Hi All,

I have a question on Pack items. The vendor pack is a pack that the supplier understand so it makes sense to be able to add component items to the vendor pack item that have same supplier/country combination to that of vendor pack item.

But buyer pack is something that the retailer use for their own purpose and while creating buyer pack also supplier/country combination on component items is enforced. Can you tell me why?
