Sourcing RFQ why Need By Date must be greater than RFQ Closing Date ?

Hello Gurus,

Hope you are doing well. This is oracle seeded feature to pop up the trigger when need by date is lesser than rfq Close date with an error.

Business wise this practice is abseloutly right as you cannot proceed until the finalized the souricing activities too.

Pain Area : Actually as you also aware the Need By Date is coming from the Requisition at the time of making RFQ and its based on the requester who always needs the things in immediate basis, now the Sourcing team while creating the RFQ and intimating the supplier give the respective Openning and Closing Date based on their considrations but unfortunately whenever ever after completing the RFQ detail they are submitting the RFQ for Approval its end up with the Need By Date error,  sometime an RFQ contain more than 40 lines and now the sourcing officer has to
