Change Assistant - Step Errors

In Change Assistant (PeopleTools version 8.55.03), has anyone received an error on a step that was actually marked as Complete?  In other words, Change Assistant processed the step and marked it as Complete, but when you right-click on the step and view the log, there is a red X on one of the log/out files.
