Not able to send dunning letters by email.

Dunning e mail is failing with error " Failed to submit delivery request. Check the corresponding profile values and config file". I am not using IPP or cups as I have to use email only.  The profile value for " IEX: Use IPP/CUPS Setup is null and IEX Printers profiles are null. As per metalink documents , for email sending only IEX:SMTP from and smtp host have to be set correctly. It should not look forn xdo config file then. Then why this error is coming I don't know.
