Payments locked by Payment Predictor

We are running payment predictor on Lockbox payments. The payment predictor process finishes successfully but the payments are not being applied and locked by the payment predictor process. The term "LOCK" refers to process instance field not being updated to 0, it leaves the ARPREDCT process instance in that field. This process has been running well for a while but seeing the locking of payments recently. Has anyone come across this situation?
