PeopleSoft Grid Download now formatted as HTML instead of XLS

Apparently after yesterday's (7/13/2016) Windows updates, when users download data from a grid in PeopleSoft by using the download button at the top of the grid the file (ps.xls) is formatted as HTML instead of xls. Strange as it may seem, those users who have not yet applied the updates still get an XLS-formatted file and those who have applied the updates get a file formatted as HTML.

Are we the only ones where this has happened or are there others that are also experiencing the same issue?  What have you done about it?
