BI Publisher scheduled JOB in running status without completing

Hi

We have the BI publisher which is used to schedule report JOBS by the users

There are jobs which are in running state for more than 5 days without completing or failing.

Please help me understand the reason, i have checked with the users no modification was made to the schedule.

I have checked the XMLP_SCHED_JOB table it seems that have started but never finished as the end-date is not updated, however i can see the JOB_ID in the XMLP_SCHED_OUTPUT table, my understanding was when a JOb starts it is updated to the XMLP_SCHED_JOB and once it is finished the
