Invalid User ID and password for signon when trying to log into PTools 8.52.14 2-tier

Yet I *can* log into Ptools three tier.

This is true whether I am attempting to log in via my desktop, or using RDP, so I doubt that it has anything to do with connectivity.

We are running Win7 desktops, Win 2012 Servers, MS Sql Server database. I have no problems at all with logging into the database, so the ODBC connections exist and are in good working order.

I *can* log into Data mover using sysadm in bootstrap mode.  But, not with my account in 2-tier.

I have captured SQL trace via the config manager, but they show zero difference when I am logging into datamover in bootstrap and when I log into datamover under my own account.
