We are getting the following in one non-prod environment:

Internal loop setting defaults; GVT_JOB_STEP (15,28).  "The component processor detected a continuous loop while setting related display fields:.

on the HR Processing USF component in HCM 9.2 - 8.54 tools.  This is during an upgrade following the first test move to production.   Interesting side note is that a database built from it (Oracle 12c) is not generating any errors .  Scenario is that we are trying to change the position number ... which calls setdefault processing on many fields in the EE_HR_PROC.USF component - including page field: GVT_JOB.STEP (which - by the way - is a display control field - and one of it's related display fields is a display control field for other related displays on the GVT_JOB3 page.
