F5 to replace OAM as SSO ?!!

Hi ,

one of our customers have f5 hardware  ,their f5 team clam that they can replace OAM sso functionality and provide sso without the need of access manager

i don't know what is the capability of f5 but most of documents i found talking about using f5 with oam

so is it possible to replace oam with f5 ?

what the customer will lose if it possible to do that ?
