Journal balancing error

I'm using 9.2, image 17.

The asset module has created a retirement journal which doesn't balance (asset template setup incorrectly).

I have manually added a line within the journal and tried to post.

I get the error that it doesn't balance.  However, the debit and credit totals at the bottom are balanced.

Could the error be in the third decimal point (which is not visible)?  Normally, when journals don't balance I cilck the + for a new line, the amount autobalances (including for the third decimal point).

I have tried this for a spreadsheet journal load which doesn't balance on the third decimal point - I go into the journal onlne and add a line and it balances and posts.
