How to remove the action 'Link Applicant to Job' on Recruiting pages (under 'Other Actions' and 'Gro

Our users have asked that we remove the action 'Link Applicant to Job' on Recruiting pages (under 'Other Actions' and 'Group Actions').  It seems that we can do this by disabling the links on each applicable Content Reference under PeopleTools > Portal > Related Content Service > Manage Related Content Service - then going into the tab 'Configure Related Actions' and under 'Page Level Related Actions', click off the checkbox for 'Enable' by each link for 'Link Applicant to Job'.  Is this correct?  Are there any problems with turning actions off in this manner?  Anything we need to consider for the future?
