On a third party inbound integration, how do I specify node and node password in the endpoint?

We have an inbound integration through IB with a third party (the vendor).  The vendor imported a project into PS, then has us generate a web service.  The vendor used a generated routing that uses the anonymous node.  I got the vendor to add userid and password to the inbound request, but it still routes through the anonymous node.

I found this Working With the PeopleSoft Services Listening Connector  in peoplebooks, which seems to imply you can specify the node in the end point, however when I do this I get "PeopleSoftTargetConnector:Unable to decrypt the password ".

How do I specify the node password in the end point or contruct the request to include the node and password, or is this the completely wrong approach?

Howdy, Stranger!
