Initial DB settings for a production CS instance
Our "production" CS instance, installed by our former implementing partner, has bogged down several times, especially during high-demand times (i.e. enrollment). In order to prevent further breakdowns once we move to Oracle cloud, a different provider or even a new server, we are now asking what ideal specifications we should set for a production instance, which should handle up to 75,000 to 100,000 users (minimum) at one time. Our areas of concern during DB initialization/setup are the following fields: (Oracle is the platform we currently use for our DB)
init<DB>.ora:
memory_target = is 4G ideal here? or even 8G?
