Route Control Profile Not Limiting as Set up
We have set up route controls by department and location combination. We have the same departments at each location. And have run into an issue when an approver
has 1 location with several departments in their routing control profile and has a 2nd location with different departments defined in the same routing control profile. The issue has come up where the approver is being notified and allowed to approve for a department defined in routing control profile but for the 2nd location which is also the employee’s department/location combination.
We were told it is working as designed. But I’m sure there is a way to avoid approvers from getting notified and allowed to approve in this scenario.
