Integration Broker between Tools 8.55 environments and 8.48?

Hello,

We're planning upgrades to our HCM and Integration Hub environments to upgrade to Tools 8.55. Our CRM 8.9 environment is still on Tools 8.48 and won't be Tools upgraded until after the other two upgrades are done. With Integration Hub hosting the IB gateway on Tools 8.55 and HCM 9.2 will also be on Tools 8.55 once the upgrades are completed, will Integration Broker work fine between 8.55 and 8.48?

Right now we have our 8.52 (HCM 9.1) and 8.53 (IH 9.1) environments working fine with 8.48 through Integration Broker, but we are just wondering about the new 8.55
