BI Publisher Report Definition Security

Is there any way to add security to BI Publisher Report Definitions based on the Owner ID?  For example, if the Admissions BIP users should only see their report definitions (with an Owner ID = Admissions-US) when doing a search, can this be tied to PS user security?  We are on PT 8.54.
