Excel query download file types xlsx vs xls

Hi,

We have  upgraded our Peopletools froom 8.53.22 to 8.54.22. Also, both office versions are MS 2010.  Now when users download their query results to excel to file type is  xlsx. Before the upgrade the file type was xls.

Is it possible to change the file type back to xls?
