Using PeopleSoft DPKs to install multi-platform environment

in PeopleTools and Lifecycle Management - PSFT (MOSC)

We are just getting started on thinking about upgrading to Tools 8.55.  We do have some experience with the Tools 8.55 environment and DPKs through PUM image downloads/installs on Oracle Virtual Box.

In our non-PUM environments, we have Tuxedo servers running on Windows and our Weblogic servers running on Linux.   Has anyone used the DPK install method for Tools 8.55 to set up a similar environment?  I have been told that it is possible using the psft_customizations.yaml file and am beginning to research that.  Just wondering if others have done so.
