Multiple Strategies Assigned in Oracle Advanced Collections

I am working on an upgrade project (11i to 12.2.5).

We are facing an issue in Oracle Advanced Collections, where we see Multiple Strategies are assigned to an Account.

Background and Observation:

We saw that there was one strategy (say Strategy 1) already assigned and work-item(s) are assigned to a strategy. The work item associated to the Strategy has Timeout as no action was taken. This work item had a wait time of 25 days after which it times out. This is configured in workflow. After this work item times out after 25 days, the strategy has a Wait time for 100 days.
