RMAM Duplicate from Active from a Physical Standby Target

Hi Gurus. I am trying to do an RMAN Duplicate from Active from a target database which is a physical standby. This process is often failing at the media recovery stage due to the first archive log being required not being copied over to the auxiliary site. The first archive log is missing, but the subsequent ones are being copied. If I manually copy over the missing archive log and restart the process then it works. Has anyone got any ideas if a), a duplicate from a physical standby is supported, and if so, why the first archived log file
