Drag and drop capability in Org Chart

I would like to know if anyone has implemented drag and drop functionality for HCM Org Chart. Though there are front end applications like OrgPublisher or Nakisa, users will need to be logged into a different front end application to enjoy the drag/drop and other features (of course, license fee for this software also needs to be considered).

Has anyone tried to achieve this within PeopleSoft itself? I believe utilizing jqueries, it should be possible, though I've not tried it yet.
