All Drilldowns going into error after OS Patching - PT 8.54.16/Excel 2010

After applying recent Microsoft Windows Server 2012 (not 2012 R2) patches, nVision Drilldowns are consistently failing on PeopleTool 8.54.16 with Excel 2010. It used to work before. Has anyone faced any such scenario and know what needs to be done to fix it?
