Mobile Approvals: Pending Approvals - No notifications found.

We are reviewing Oracle Mobile Approvals in a test instance for possible implementation with a planned EBS 12.2.5 upgrade next February.

I have configured the app and am able to login to the app but I am not getting any Pending Approvals.  It displays "No notifications found".

I have created a new expense report and a new requisition.  The notifications for these can be found in the approvers worklist in the UI, but nothing is displayed when logging in to the app as the approver.

I ran the following script from Doc ID 2012721.1 for the approver and it returns the two notifications in the worklist.
