Lost attachment data in CM 11.1.2.4.103

Hi Everyone,

We had a significant loss of data last week in our FCM environment and I wanted to start a conversion to see if anyone else has ever had a similar experience.

Sometime between 5:15pm Wednesday 10/19 and 2:00am Thursday 10/20 we lost a significant number of attachments within CM.  From what I can gather, the attachments for FCM are stored in the FCC_REFERENCES table within the FCM database. Unfortunately our nightly backup happens at 2:00am, so we had to go back to the 2:00am backup on 10/19 to recover because our 10/20 backup was missing the attachments.  When looking at the current state table, we had 1625 rows in the above table, but in the backup database we had almost 7000 rows.
