Inactive Offer templates still showing

We are inactivating some offer templates by going to Reporting Tools > BI Publisher >Report definition, added an new effective date and status of inactive.  Problem is the templates that we are inactivating are still showing in the drop down list in "letter" when choosing a template.  Anyone else have this issue?

Looking at the code for the page there is no effective dated logic for the dropdown
