Tech Update – Oracle Discontinues Certification of Underutilized Operating Systems (Doc ID 2187691.1

There's a new Tech Update posted...which says...

After careful analysis of our customer base, market analysis and anticipated trends, Oracle has made the business decision to discontinue certifying the following sparsely-used operating system platforms with new PeopleTools releases:

    SUSE Linux

    Solaris x86-64

    Linux on System Z

These platforms are currently certified with PeopleTools 8.55, and will remain certified for the normal lifecycle of PT 8.55, including all 8.55 patches.
