Trouble running Change Assistant on PT 8.54
I have had trouble running Change Assistant on PT 8.54.28 (and also PT 8.54 base) on my client PCs.
I have had been trying to upgrade our PT installation to 8.54.28 from 8.52.07, but then, the Change Assistant simply does not work on our end. DB connectivity is OK, PATH variable is also OK, and Data Mover/App Designer access (with 8.52) also OK.
The problems being exhibited by my Change Assistant when Defining a Database for Upgrade are simply "Connection Failed!" and "Failed to test connection".
The said server instance is under Cisco VPN. Servers run Oracle Linux 6, clients run Windows 8.1.
Did you have any experience with Cisco VPN and PT access?
