OIM 11g R2 PS3 Common Name Generation

Hi,

We are trying to use the Deafult Common Name Generation Policy available in OIM 11g r2 ps3.

System properties are correctly set

User created through Self Service and Common name is not getting generated.

Any pointers please.

Also is it mandatory to Have ldap sync enabled for common name generation, if yes, If we want to generate common names in an environment not ldap sync enabled, What would be the best approach. Preference will be to use an OOTB feature and not an Custom event handler.
