how to apply pscbo for single schema in DaaS Oracle 11g

We have upgrade from FSCM 8.9/PT8.47/Oracle 10g to FSCM8.9/PT8.53.26/Oracle 11.2.0.3. with DBFLAG=1 in both app and proc configuration file.

Our Database is hosted in 11g Oracle DaaS.

We saw a note "pscbo_stats - Improving Statistics in Oracle RDBMS for PeopleSoft Enterprise ( Doc ID 1322888.1 )".  in MOS.

Please help to confirm if it is mandatory to implement this. If yes, how to apply this for single schema in a Shared DaaS Database that has multiple schemas?
