RMS Product & Merchandise Hierarchy
Hello,
What is the best way to design a new merchandise hierarchy for a company that sell and plan the same product through different chains.
For example, all Lipstick is sold in both the department store chain, as well as the cosmetics store chain. This product has the same EAN and supplier, but is planned in MFP (by range code) and AP (by SKU) by different planning teams and sold through different chains. The product may have different selling prices as well as different promotional and markdown strategies.
Should the product exist with a unique SKU for each planning team, associated with a different element of the hierarchy?
