Is there a way to disable response to multicast address in Solaris 11?

Hi

The user performed a scan on the network and they got this recommendation from the software.

Contact your operating system vendor for a patch. Alternatively, filter out multicast IP addresses (224.0.0.0/4).

I believe we can just filter out the multicast address on the firewall, but i would like to know if it is even possible to disable the OS from responding to the address?
