Obsolete patch referenced as prerequisite

I am currently in the process of keeping our lifecycle instance up-to-date. We are way behind on bundles and I am trying to keep our system up-to-date on the bundles; however, when I encounter installing a backlog bundle, say, CS 9.0 #29, this patch number, which I have checked just now to be obsolete and superseded by another patch, has kept me from proceeding.

What shall I do in this situation? I have a later release adapter (superseding the said patch number) installed in the instance at the moment. Unfortunately, the said release adapters are not allowed as replacements/equivalents for the said patch number. Am I correct?
