AP past period close Peopelsoft

Hi,

We are planning to close the AP Periods which are open for a long tiome.

right now the periods are open from 2006 to 2016.

We are planning to close till 2014.

Could you please let us know if any risks are there if we close the past periods.

will any old vouchers be affected or will any positng process be affected.

Could you please advice.
