SQL and PeopleCode trace files not being generated

I was successfully tracing SQL and PeopleCode using the "Set Trace Flags" on the sign on page.  Suddenly it stopped working one morning.  I still have the link and can check the boxes, but the files are not generated on the server.  Our Admin doesn't seem to know what happened.  I know in past tools releases that there was a setting somewhere that had to be turned on for it to create the file.  Does anyone know if that setting still applies in Tool 8.55, and if so, what/where is it?

Any help would be appreciated.  (I tried searching, but am only finding articles on how to do a trace, not problems with it.)
