Making Affiliate Chartfield available to end user.

Had a question on affiliate CF being available to user in some modules whereas not in others, even though it's been activate on the STD CF Config Page.

GL is understood - i.e. to manually enter the balancing values or to support external IU journal imports.

EX - all active CFs are visible, including all Affiliates

AM, AP,BI/AR - Affiliate restricted on page.

Other than GL, shouldn't Affiliate be restricted on subledger (not editable). Is there any defined rules as which modules would have it.

Could you please share your opinion.
