BI Publisher question

We had hired a consultant to convert our custom crystal reports to BI Publisher. We hoped for someone to cross-train our team and do the conversion work. The consultant did not work out and we had to let them go. We are left with a bit of a mess. We are trying to open a report definition and it doesn't display to select. So we try to add the report definition and receive an error: Report definition XXXXXXX already exists. (235,2007).

Where is this definition stuck? I can see the definition on the following tables:

PSXPRPTTMPL

PSXPTMPLDEFN

PSXPTMPLFILEDEF

PSXPRPTOUTFMT

PSXPRTDEFN

I also ran PSXPCLEAN App Engine program with the same results. I'm not really sure how to proceed and am hoping for some advice.
