Fluid - SetViewport not persisting after accessing modal page

In a Fluid component, the SetViewport("") function is used to display correctly on a mobile.

Within the component, I access a modal page, using DoModalPopup, but when I return to the component, the viewport settings are lost and the page displays too small.

Has anyone experienced this?

Using PeopleTools 8.54.25.
