Oracle Application 11i cannot get error message and set mail_status to FAILED.

Hi,

I have upgraded the database from 10.1.0.4 to 11.2.0.4 and found WF didn't get the message from log to change status in table.

Currently,SMTP works correctly. It returns correct error code and message back to application, why application cannot get this message and set mail_status = FAILED as ever did before upgrade. What's wrong?  Is it a bug? Please advise.

Note : My application version is 11.5.10.2
