How to define Supplier as taxable and non taxable

Hi Team,

We are looking for enabling tax eligibility at supplier level. I tried enabling supplier tax applicability so that whenever a voucher is entered system throws an error or soft warning to provide tax information but its not working as we are expecting.

Can you please provide information if supplier can be defined as taxable or non taxable
