Trouble with PUM Native OS cleanup on Windows 2012R2

Hello,

Has anyone else had trouble cleaning up the psft directory in preparation for installing a new Native OS PUM Image?  There are files in the \psft\pt sub folders (weblogic) with names that are too long and the normal deletion process does not handle them.  I have performed the manual steps identified in the DPK install guide "PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.55 .

Deployment Packages Installation".  And there is a specific step which states:

16. Remove everything under the BASE_DIR folder (C:\psft\db, C:\psft\dpk, and C:\psft\pt).

Note. You may get a message that some of the file names are too big for the recycle bin. Click OK to accept.

Howdy, Stranger!
