Used for depreciation check box unavailable for selection in detail calendar when end date defaults

Our requirement is to have daily periods and calculate depreciation monthly. 

I do understand that PeopleSoft AM does not support daily calendar as It would be too many rows
of depreciation that need to be generated as it would need to generate the

deprecation for each period. Example if an asset has 6 yrs life, then it would
be 6*365 depreciation period.

Is there a way to meet this requirement?  This is a requirement for a client in South America.

In Ledgers for a Unit the “ACTUALS” ledger group with calendar id “D1” – Daily calendar and
the Journal Generator default has not been selected.  The “ACTUALS” Ledger Group has “LOCAL” ledger
