Year End Close - Incorrect retained earnings entry

Hello,

WE are currently using PeopleSoft 9.1 and have encountered an issue with the year end close journals.  In our PRD environment the retained earnings entry is posting to the incorrect operating unit and fund code.  We run this same process in DEV without refreshing and the retained earnings entry is correct.  We validate that the close rule is the same in both PRD and DEV environments.  Has anyone else seen this issue?  Does anyone know how the GPCLOSE determines the retained earnings entry on the journal?  Does anyone know of a resolution?  I could really appreciate any help or direction
