EDI 810 inbound invoice transactions

Does anyone know if there are transformation program details that convert the 810 X.12 format file into XML?  See the attached PeopleBooks documentation including the ISRP sheet.  We are looking to provide an alternative to our suppliers who do not want to use GHX but will provide a standard 810 X.12 format file to us.  We would like to do this without using a third party.  If anyone has done this we would be interested in talking to you for direction.  Thanks.
